Not the best

We had ordered the small magnificent mixed box to try out 'non-supermarket' fruit and veg and see what alternatives were out there, obviously delivered to the door being a great bonus point. We had however also tried local green grocers as well at the time to compare. And hands down the local green grocers wins... The apricots were flavourless, the amount of spinach was minimal as well as the amount of carrots, for the price paid we would expect higher quantity and quality.

Lovely collection of nicely varies fruit/veg and salad. Delightful polite young man delivers, same guy each week, reliable time each week. Quality great and wonderful to know for sure that what you are eating has not been contaminated in any way.

Nectarins you can play golf with

While the veg is goood the fruit is again not ripe. I understand soft fruit is difficult to transport, put seriously theses peaches are so hard you can play golf with them. They have been in the fruit bowl 6 days now and getting a plbit softer but there is no swileetness there. Same story about peaches. These fruit are so tasty in any supermarkert now and such rubbish from AC :(

I'm really sorry to hear your first delivery fruit wasn't the best. You certainly shouldn't be able to play golf with them! It's a shame that you didn't get chance to eat them fresh but if you do still have them in the bowl: slice them and fry a little to caramelise, then add them to a nice bowl of ice cream (or yoghurt) for a nice dessert.

Good but not great

First box received today but not impressed. Unfortunately the nectarines are solid so will have to wait and hope they ripen, several apples are damaged - they have holes/brown marks and the cherry tomatoes are tasteless . Hopefully the bananas, onions, broccoli and carrots will taste as good as they look. Overall not that impressed with this box but will give it another go.

Not happy today!

I've been receiving my veg box for a while now and 99% of the time I am very happy with the quality and quantity of vegetables and fruit. Today I ordered two portions of broccoli enough for the meals planned this week and going by previous quantities received. The quantity of broccoli delivered today is tiny. I understand that quantities will vary because of seasonal vegetables etc but I will now have to buy more vegetables to last the week. Somehow when ordering I need to know how much will be delivered.

Underwhelmed and feel ripped off!

Poor quality. Over priced. My veg / fruit box contained four solid peaches - I'm hoping they ripen. Four un-tantalising tomatoes, that didn't taste of anything. A cos lettuce - which was O.K. a bit too battered around the edges so half of it had to go in the food recycling. Very small almost ripe bananas. Three oranges, that smell and look exactly like the ones in Asda. Mushrooms on the turn… I feel ripped off and want my money back!

Fruit and Veg box

Box is usually very good, however, flat peaches delivered (2 separate orders) this week and two weeks ago (I think) don’t look very appealing, nor last very long (stored per instructions). Great to be able to swap, and delivery is awesome, always here before I leave for work!

A good selection of fruit and vegetables

I enjoy receiving my box as it has a variety of veg that I would not normally use. I use the recipes enclosed in the box when I'm not so sure how to cook them. I look forward to my next box and it's recipes.
